7th Friend Volunteers

The name "Seventh Friend Volunteers" was taken from a poem by Linda Mae (Palmer) Richardson, Executive Assistant

of Victory in the Valley, who wrote of her experiences after her diagnosis of metastatic malignant melanoma 37 years ago.

"Comforters" speaks of the 7th Friend who came and said,

"I care, I'm here; I want to help you through this."
