Patient Assistance Program

Prescription Assistance

​VV's Emergency Medical Fund (provided on a short-term basis) to assist with emergency needs for pain or nausea medications.

  A referral is required from the patient’s Oncology physician/nurse.

Every donation to this limited fund,

is used directly to provide relief to help see a

patient through some of their hardest time.​

​Grocery Assistance

VV's Food Pantry is available for those patients on treatment (Doctor Referral Required).  Once a month, a box of non-perishable items is provided to help ease the financial burden for families.  Pantry groceries are donated by our generous supporters.

New Patient Gift Bag & Treatment Planners 

Every newly diagnosed cancer patient who visits our Victory House location (3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS) will receive a

"New Patient Kit" Through the generosity of many individuals and organizations a warm hand-made blanket or quilt, neck pillow, and other comfort items are provided, as well as educational and resource information. Upon request, we have custom made Treatment Planners to help you keep track of your appointments, medications, etc.

Navigating Booklets

  Along with your Victory Bear you will receive VV's "Navigating The Cancer Journey" booklet designed by a committee of cancer survivors, caregivers, oncology doctors and nurses, and other healthcare professionals.  The booklet includes practical suggestions for cancer patients from those who have also walked the journey. 

A Caregiver Booklet with helpful tips and

suggestions for caregivers is also available.
