Spirit Lifter:  TODAY IS A GIFT

I vividly remember the day I received my diagnosis of cancer.  That day certainly did not seem like a gift to me!  But looking back through the years, I can see clearly that every day after that has been a gift to me, whether I was aware of it or not.  Even on the darkest days, when my emotions and spirit felt weighed down by sickness, fear, doubts and worries; I was still living a day of my life which offered hope and better days ahead, even as I continued through the cancer journey.
