When difficulties come it seems that at first, worries reign over almost every thought... Of course, we soon try to rally and make life as normal as possible. We smile and even laugh. We carry on conversations with other people and try not to let the subject of cancer take over our discussions. But though our effort is great and may appear to be successful to someone else, for the patient, worry is too often our constant, unwanted companion no matter where we go or what we do.."
