Where do you receive your funding?

Thanks to over 200 dedicated volunteers and a small paid staff, Victory in the Valley continues to offer support programs and services to friends and neighbors in Wichita and surrounding communities just the way it was first started: through donations, memorials and non-federally funded grants.

Tell me about support groups?

Victory in the Valley has grown from one support group in 1983, to 18 groups which meet on a regular basis in Wichita and throughout Kansas.  Groups include: Brain Tumor, Breast, Kidney, General Cancers and the Kids & Family (childhood cancers) Support Program which meets for quarterly activities.  General Cancer groups are open to all cancer patients/survivors and supporters.  Meetings are held on a regular monthly or bi-monthly basis with some groups meeting at night and others during the day.  Some groups convene at Victory House, while others gather at different locations on both the east and west side of Wichita and in surrounding communities.  Please click on "Support Group Button" on our homepage to learn more about time and locations of support group meetings.
